Founder and CEO of Nexal Gaming Community, Esports Consultant, Manager, and Brand Influencer. I embarked on my Esports journey in 2019, immediately after my high school graduation. My goal is to foster the growth of Esports in Nigeria and across Africa. I initiated the Nigerian Gaming Community, now known as Nexal Gaming Community.
The Problem: Within the Nigerian Esports scene, a lack of data resulted in a dearth of information and communication. It was a chaotic environment with no clear direction. While Esports in Nigeria has existed since 2008/2009, significant development began around 2019, in which I believe I played a role.
My Role: When I established NGC, my aim was to serve as an intermediary between gamers and tournament organizers. This facilitated easy access to information about favorite games in Nigeria. I continue to fulfill this role with Nexal Gaming Community, operating on a larger scale with diverse teams including content creators, writers, graphic and web designers, tournament managers, and gamers.
